SHAZAM receives IBAT's prestigious Five*Star Award

SHAZAM® has been honored with the Five*Star Award presented by the Independent Bankers Association of Texas. The member-owned debit network, processor and core provider was recognized June 27 during the 40th Annual Connecting Leaders Conference in Galveston, the flagship event of the IBAT Leadership Division.

Since 2002, IBAT’s Five*Star Award has recognized associate members that consistently deliver excellent service and innovative solutions that help community banks grow, increase profitability and improve efficiency. To be considered for the award, associate members must demonstrate a strong commitment to the community banking industry through participation in IBAT and other industry events.

IBAT member banks vote to determine the winner in each of three tiers, based on company size. Judging criteria include service excellence, human relationships, integrity, commitment to the community banking industry and exceptional value delivered to the banks served.

SHAZAM, which began as the original innovator in debit card transaction processing, has evolved into a national payments provider serving financial institutions, fintechs and corporate entities. A member-owned, independent organization for 50 years, the company supports secure money movement across the nation’s payment rail systems and reinvests its profits into the products and services used by its clients.
